Balsam Beach is a large expanse of sand that stretches out and connects to the Atlantic Ocean. Balsam is located south of the town and is most often used as a summer tourist spot. There are a few sparse beach houses, food stands that close up for the Winter and Spring months as well as a Harbour, and the local Fish Market, Sebastian's Marketplace. Cedar Forest is a massive expanse of trees with hiking trails and campgrounds located within. Many wild animals make the forest their home, including wolves, bears, deer, and moose.
